Pocket filters for fine dust
Pocket filters for fine dust are designed to filter fine dust particles in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. They are used in office buildings, hospitals, data centres, the pharmaceutical industry, and other facilities with higher air-quality requirements. They are also often used as a pre-filter stage upstream of high-efficiency EPA, HEPA, and ULPA filters.
Technical specifications
Filter media properties:
– tested and certified by ILH Berlin,
– tested to DIN EN 779,
– fire reaction class to DIN 53438 (F1),
– resistance to relative humidity up to 100%,
– compatibility with coating systems according to the IPA test,
– high tightness and resistance to pressure loads thanks to seamless filter pockets and robust edge welds,
– damage-resistant synthetic fibres, safe for health and the environment,
– maximum operating temperature up to 80°C (depending on frame type).
Design:
– all standard sizes available in welded design with Pocket-Fitting mounting,
– special sizes on request,
– frame material: plastic (25 mm) or metal (20 mm and 25 mm),
– plastic-frame version suitable for energy recovery at end of service life,
– optional hygienic foam gasket.
