COOKIE POLICY

website filtertechnik.sk

effective from 1 November 2026

Article I. What are cookies and similar technologies

1.1 Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser or device and reads from it during subsequent visits. Other technologies that store or access information on your device (for example, local browser storage) work in a similar way. In this policy, we collectively refer to them as “cookies”.

1.2 The operator of the website https://filtertechnik.sk (hereinafter the “website”) is Filter Technik Slovakia, s.r.o., Štrková 578/4, 010 09 Žilina, Company ID: 36 589 063, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Žilina, Section Sro, File No. 17497/L, e-mail info@filtertechnik.sk (hereinafter “we”). General information on the processing of personal data and your rights can be found in our Privacy Policy.

Article II. Legal basis

2.1 Pursuant to Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications, we may store information on your device or access it only with your demonstrable consent, which meets the requirements for consent under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Consent is not required for cookies whose sole purpose is to transmit a communication over a network, or which are strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested (necessary cookies).

2.2 Where personal data is processed through cookies (for example, a device identifier or IP address), the legal basis for processing optional cookies is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, and for necessary cookies, our legitimate interest in the functional and secure operation of the website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Article III. How to give, refuse, and withdraw consent

3.1 A cookie banner is displayed on your first visit to the website. By clicking “Accept all”, you consent to all optional cookies; by clicking “Reject optional”, you decline them and the website will use only necessary cookies. Through “Cookie settings”, you can select individual categories. Both options are equivalent, and refusal does not restrict browsing the website in any way.

3.2 We remember your choice for 182 days (whether accepted or refused). After this period expires, or after cookies are deleted in your browser, the banner will be displayed again.

3.3 You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page of the website. After withdrawing consent, we will remove our website’s analytical cookies that are accessible to us; if an external service has already been loaded, the page will refresh to stop its further use (any unsent text in a form may be lost as a result). Cookies stored on third-party domains (for example, google.com) can only be deleted in your browser settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

3.4 You can also manage cookies directly in your browser settings (blocking, deleting, notification upon storage). Blocking necessary cookies may limit the functionality of the website, in particular the retention of language settings and the submission of forms.
