Automatic backwash filter, with filtration fineness down to 1 μm
The OptiFil filter is a fully automatic, continuous system operating on the principle of surface and cake filtration mechanisms. Metal fiber fabrics or fleeces serve as the filter media. They capture particles of various sizes either inside or on their surface. Once a predetermined degree of filter media contamination is reached, the media is cleaned by backwashing using a small amount of filtrate. Liquid filtration continues even during the backwashing of the filter media.
